I completed my BSc degree in medical chemistry with 1st class honours in 2011 and then decided to embark on a career in medicine. I completed my medical degree at keele University in 2016. I then completed my foundation training in Royal Stoke University hospital and then started core surgical training with my primary career goal of becoming a urologist. I completed surgical examinations and became a member of the Royal college of surgeons (MRCS) in 2018 and gained a masters degree in surgical science with distinction from the university of Edinburgh in 2019 with my thesis based on the role of urine cytology as an diagnostic adjunct in urological malignancy investigations. I also completed an elective in transplant surgery at Manchester Royal infirmary.

I decided to leave surgical training and went on to complete my GP training in North Stafforshire in 2022. I joined biddulph valley surgery in January 2023.

My areas of interest are men's health, renal disease and endocrinology in general practice. I also enjoy teaching medical students and gp registrars.

I am an avid bass guitar player, playing all over the UK in a tribute band. I am also a dad to 2 wonderful kids.
